Biographical Information
I grew up outside of El Dorado with my parents and two brothers. My older brother, Cody, lives in Leavenworth with his two sons. My younger brother, Caleb, lives with his wife in El Dorado and works as a firefighter. I have 4 nephews. I attended school in the Circle School District and graduated from Circle High School in 2006.

In the spring of 2006 I began my education at Butler Community College. I was able to complete my degree in Elementary Education through Emporia State University at the Butler campus. I student taught in 4th and 5th grades in El Dorado.

I graduated from Emporia State University in 2009 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education. I began my first year of teaching at Marshall in 2009. I taught 6th grade Language Arts during the 2009-2010 school year. I moved to 3rd grade for the 2010-2011 school year. This is my seventh year teaching 3rd grade and I love it!

I currently live in Towanda with my husband, Joe. Joe works as a tire & lube technician for Wal-Mart. Our son, Axton, is one. We also have two dogs and a cat. I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the movies, shopping for antiques, and cooking & baking.

I am so blessed to be a part of the wonderful staff of Marshall Elementary and to have the opportunity to work with a fantastic group of kids!
